What I Teach.
1) BEFORE YOU SIGN: What Every College Athlete Needs to
Know About NIL & Rev-Share Contracts
In this workshop, I teach athletes what to look for before they put pen to paper. We walk through the parts of the contract that matter most: what you’re required to do, how and when you’ll be paid, whether you’re locked out of other deals, how your NIL can be used, and what happens if either side wants out. We also cover how Rev-Share agreements are typically written, including incentives, conduct clauses, and termination/buyout language.
2) AGENTS & THE UNREGULATED MARKETPLACE:
What Your Athletes Need to Know Before Signing
In this workshop, I teach athletes how to evaluate the people who show up as “help” in the NIL world: agents, advisors, brand managers, runners, and everyone in between. Teaching agency law and fiduciary duties in plain English, I not only arm athletes with vital knowledge, I uncover the likely mines athletes could fall prey to: conflicts of interest, hidden fee structures, exclusivity clauses, and language or actions that could strip them of their rights. Athletes leave with a protective mindset.
3) Staying Eligible: What College Athletes Need to
Know About NIL Compliance
In this workshop, I teach athletes how to navigate compliance without guessing. I focus on the documentation and disclosure habits that protect athletes when signing NIL & Rev-Share deals. I also cover the compliance “why,” including how problematic inducement language and false promises create avoidable violations, and close with an athlete-level overview of Title IX and what the future likely holds for the law & business of college sports, and what they should watch for.
What Your Athletes Will Leave With.
Educated athletes leave with a protective mindset and compliance-first practices.

The Book That Powers It All.
The Fine Print is the educational foundation behind every workshop I deliver.
Written for athletes and families navigating the new business of college sports, it covers the legal history of NIL, how to read and evaluate contracts, the difference between NIL and rev-share, agent red flags, business formation, taxes, and investing -- in plain English, without the jargon.
Every athlete who attends a workshop leaves with the knowledge the book is built on.
